What Gets Sent

Monocle sends alerts to your Slack channel when an uptime monitor detects an incident:
  • Monitor Down: your service is unreachable or returning errors. Includes the monitor name, URL, and environment.
  • Monitor Recovered: your service is back online, with the total downtime duration.

Setup

  1. Create an Incoming Webhook in your Slack workspace and choose the channel where alerts should go.
  2. In Monocle, go to Organization Settings > Integrations.
  3. Paste the webhook URL under Slack.
  4. Hit Test to make sure it works, then Save.
