Connect your GitHub repositories to Monocle so you can turn exceptions into GitHub issues without leaving your dashboard.

Why Connect GitHub?

When an exception pops up in Monocle, you can create a GitHub issue in one click. The issue is pre-filled with the exception details, the affected application, and a link back to the Monocle dashboard. No copy-pasting between tools. You can also link existing GitHub issues to Monocle exceptions if someone already opened one. When a linked issue is closed on GitHub, Monocle automatically marks it as resolved. Everything stays in sync.

Setup

  1. Go to Organization Settings > Integrations and click Connect next to GitHub.
  2. You’ll be redirected to GitHub to install the Monocle app and select which repositories it can access.
  3. Then, in your Application Settings, link a specific repository to each Monocle application.
That’s it. Your team can now create and link GitHub issues directly from exceptions.
