Why Connect GitHub?
When an exception pops up in Monocle, you can create a GitHub issue in one click. The issue is pre-filled with the exception details, the affected application, and a link back to the Monocle dashboard. No copy-pasting between tools. You can also link existing GitHub issues to Monocle exceptions if someone already opened one. When a linked issue is closed on GitHub, Monocle automatically marks it as resolved. Everything stays in sync.Setup
- Go to Organization Settings > Integrations and click Connect next to GitHub.
- You’ll be redirected to GitHub to install the Monocle app and select which repositories it can access.
- Then, in your Application Settings, link a specific repository to each Monocle application.
