# Discord

> Get uptime alerts delivered to your Discord channels

Connect Discord to get notified in real time when something goes down, and when it comes back up.

## What Gets Sent

Monocle sends alerts to your Discord channel when an uptime monitor detects an incident:

* **Monitor Down**: your service is unreachable or returning errors. Includes the monitor name, URL, and environment.
* **Monitor Recovered**: your service is back online, with the total downtime duration.

## Setup

1. In your Discord server, go to **Server Settings > Integrations** and create a webhook.
2. In Monocle, go to **Organization Settings > Integrations**.
3. Paste the webhook URL under **Discord**.
4. Hit **Test** to make sure it works, then **Save**.
